We are looking for a Middle Backend developer to become a part of our team. If you have a desire in addition to a career as a developer to move in the direction of management, we are waiting for your CV.

About the project:

UK-based e-commerce startup. We’ve developed an MVP from scratch. The client received an investment based on our prototype. And now he is preparing to launch an MVP in production. Now we are developing the infrastructure.

Tech stack — Node.js, JS, SQL (PostgreSQL), Redis, AWS, Firebase

You fit well If you have:

• Experience with Node.js (Express or Adonis), SQL (PostgreSQL), non-SQL (mongo), third-party APIs: mail, push-notifications, sockets, payment integration — 3+ years;
• Experience designing databases from scratch, finding & fixing performance bottlenecks;
• English level — Intermediate.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of SOLID, Design Patterns, and Best Practices;
• Experience with sharding & replication;
• High-load experience and experience with different languages ​​(Python, PHP).

You will:

• Mentor less-experienced developers;
• Develop from scratch the architecture and complex parts of backend projects for mobile and web applications;
• Optimize project speed and expand architecture;
• Communicate with customers.

ProductCrafters — software-development company for startups based in Khmelnytskyi. Since 2016. We deliver MVPs that get investments (2 of 3 this year). One of our current projects continues over 3 years. We now have 10 people, 8 of whom are technical specialists. And 3 open vacancies for current projects.

We work on a new project from the idea stage to launch. Together with customers we write the technical specification and advise how to make the project better throughout development. We choose and justify the technical stack. We try to add 1 new tool/technology to each project.

We provide free training on Javascript, React for students and developers on other stacks.

A typical project is a dating platform for clients from Australia, the development time is 6 months. We work in small teams: PM, 2-3 developers. Each developer is working on one project. We have recently involved a new practice — we collect and test the project daily.
