We are currently searching for a Senior Front-end (React) Developer, passionate about vision and idea of our product and able to work with user-facing part of our .
We take inspiration from Spotify for building our engineering culture and implementing best practices. We work in small product teams, so this person will join our SaaS Team that is responsible for helping our tutors to be efficient and successful with Preply platform, and as a result, create an exceptional teaching experience for our tutors.
Our front-end developers work on all parts of our system from improving the UX, to making our API more robust . For example we are migrating our JS stack from Backbone to React, experimenting with migrating from REST to GraphQL. We like TDD, A/B testing, speed optimization and SEO tricks that help us to build a bigger business. We have diverse technical challenges that will allow you to develop your skills across the stack.

Your competency profile:
• At least 3+ years experience developing websites or .
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, React Ecosystem.
• Familiarity with server-side MVC web frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails or Django.
• Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, webpack, gulp and related web technologies.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• High level of self-organization, ownership, responsibility.
• Any of Backbone, React-Native, GraphQL, Python, AWS experience is an additional
strength.
• Min. B2 English level (company gives 200$/month for studying English on Preply.com).

• Help us smoothly migrate from Backbone to React, and from Rest to GraphQL, improve page load speed, develop new killer features.
• Constantly adding value to experience of our customers by writing readable, testable and efficient code.
• Dedicate time to deeply understand the problems and challenges users face and become a part of the solution finding process.
• Help us make our best practices even better (test culture, code reviews, mentoring).
• Participate in design and code reviews, mentor and guide junior front-end developers.
