— Conduct exploratory data analysis;
— Generate prescriptive insights — tactical and strategic insights to improve marketing effectiveness;
— Use state of the art Data Science techniques for ranking and building recommendation engines through ML methodologies that maximizes business impact;
— Produce reliable predictive and prescriptive insights based on advanced statistical modeling including machine learning methodologies;
— Select metrics and methods relevant for the insightful data analysis;
— Launch and run A/B testing;
— Advise, educate, and assist management and other professionals in working with and understanding organizational data
Preply is looking for an experienced professional to join the Data Chapter and help us on modelling liquidity and ways to rank tutors in order to maximize the business metrics. You will be working in close coordination with our Growth Marketing team, Product Managers and the rest of the Data team.
Your objective will focus on using data to personalize the user experience. You will play with algorithms in order to provide the most optimal search result order with the aim of increasing Preply’s value proposition and impact main Business metrics. You will improve the current recommendation engines providing the student the kind of tutor they are looking for. The position will also play a crucial role in understanding the marketplace liquidity and the right balance between our students and tutors. This knowledge will be leveraged to make actionable propositions to keep a healthy community.
