Strong Junior/Middle Manual QA Engineer for a business aviation product (вакансія неактивна)

Portside is looking for a Strong Junior/Middle Manual QA Engineer to join the team and help us scale the business. The position is fully remote (anywhere in the European time zone, e.g. Ukraine/Europe/Turkey).

At Portside (portside.aero), we are developing a modern, cloud-based operating system for business aviation: a set of integrated solutions addressing major industry pain points. Our platform supports over 150 operators of business jet, helicopter, medevac and government fleets, as well as fractional jet ownership programs, charter brokers and others in the business aviation industry. We are based in San Francisco with a fully remote team spread across the US, Europe and Asia. Our founding team comes from Y Combinator, Harvard, Berkeley, Bain & Co. and has prior experience building successful companies. We are profitable, fast-growing, well-financed and are on a mission to digitize the business aviation industry.

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of commercial experience in software testing is a must
• Experience in testing Web applications
• Experience in UI testing
• Experience in creating and executing test cases, checklists, writing bug reports
• Experience in testing documentation maintenance
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies like Agile / Scrum, Kanban
• Intermediate level of English
• Sense of responsibility, attentiveness, ability and readiness to learn quickly
  
  

Would be a plus but not required:

• Experience with DB (SQL)
• Experience in API testing

What you will do:

• Close cooperation with the development team and management to improve the QA process on the project, according to the needs and priorities
• Issue root causes investigation using system logs, DB queries (SQL), etc.
• Analyze business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Perform manual regression, functional, acceptance and API testings
• Analyze and constantly improve test coverage and development process
• Report on QA process and metrics to Product Managers and QA Lead directly
