Release manager (вакансія неактивна)

You will be involved in:

• Defining and establishing release schedules;
• Developing/maintaining a release management discipline based on experience and best practices;
• Creating comprehensive documentation on the release process, roles and responsibilities;
• Creating and implementing release policies and procedures;
• Leading release planning meetings and activities, conducting release readiness reviews, posting implementation reviews;
• Serving as the key release representative in all communication, management and decision-making on all release management issues;
• Serving as an escalation point for all issues and questions associated with a release;
• Providing on-going written and verbal release status updates to various stakeholders;
• Coordinating defects tracking during release phases;
• Coordinating Product Owner or responsible team member to ensure follow up and closure of defect;
• Managing the risk and deployment of deliverables to production and resolving issues that affect on release scope, schedule, and quality;
• Measuring and monitoring progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time;
• Tracking milestone signoffs, code freeze, exception approvals;
• Using post-release reviews to improve and adjust the release management process.

We are interested in:

• Proven experience delivering 20+ projects to production, working in different methodologies in parallel;
• Proven management experience in relevant and similar roles;
• Good understanding of product release & support workflow;
• Experience in office and collaboration tools (SharePoint, JIRA, Portfolio, Confluence);
• Advanced knowledge of SCM;
• Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously;
• Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for implementing new or enhanced applications with complex rollouts/release cycles;
• Results oriented, willing to take responsibility and accept accountability for action;
• Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers.
