QA Automation Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a strong Python Automation Engineer to join PLVision and launch our new project for the innovative startup.

You will work with the latest technologies and won’t need to puzzle out any outdated legacy code.

Our team constantly contributes to open source (Linux kernel, SONiC, SAI, etc.) and collaborates daily with global technology leaders within the open-source communities.

A stable business with 100% Ukrainian capital, PLVision has offices in Ukraine and Poland. The company is investing all its net income in 2022 for the needs of the Army.

Our customer is a Silicon Valley-based startup that works with the cutting-edge technologies. Its founders have many years of successful experience in the industry. PLVision’s team is responsible for building the new way of SONiC distribution.

Vacancy responsibilities:
— Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
— Develop and execute test plans (includes design and build testing topologies)
— Design, develop and perform automation testing with Python
— Extend the existing test automation framework in Python
— Communicate with internal and external teams to identify system requirements and use cases

Vacancy requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering
• 2+ years of commercial experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
• Knowledge of Python
• Understanding of the OOP concept
• Experience with Test Documentation development
• Experience with Linux at least at user level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of technical English at Intermediate level and higher

Vacancy plus options:
• Knowledge of Git
• Linux networking experience
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins configuration and maintenance
• Understanding of OSI model, knowledge of basic L2/L3 networking protocols
• Hands-on experience with networking devices
