PHP Software Engineer (eCommerce)

We are looking for a PHP Software Engineer to join our eCommerce team!

Playwing is an international product company, our eCommerce portfolio contains a variety of different services.

Playwing has different High-quality products with complex logic and different content. We are distributing and we offer different types of markets and targets.
And we want YOU to join us to strengthen existing teams if you like the idea of rapid product development and the ability to create long-term products from scratch.

Process: Daily meetings, Planning / Estimation session, code review, product testing, Agile.

Stack of our projects: PHP 7.4-8.2, Symfony 4.4-6.4, AWS (RDS (MySQL), Redis (ElastiCache), K8S (EKS)), Docker.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of professional experience with the PHP 7-8 versions;
• Understanding of OOP;
• Experience working with Symfony framework is a strong plus;
• Knowledge in databases, SQL optimization (at least indexes, explain);
• Experience with Docker;
• Experience with API integrations;
• Ability to deal with routine tasks;
• Intermediate English level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with PHPUnit;
• Basic knowledge with AWS;
• Eager to learn new technologies and grow as a software engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in the server-side development and operation of a global mobile-commerce platform that will allow millions of users to have access to content;
• Responsible for the full engineering life cycle of our ecommerce store project including technical design, task estimation, implementation, debugging and technical documentation preparation;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by QA team;
• Database design and development;
• Constantly improve the application architecture;
• Work with other challenging large-scale systems for game services and mobile advertising.
