Key Responsibilities

Service Development

• Design and develop scalable backend services using PHP 7.1+.
• Ensure high performance and reliability in a multi-server environment.
• Implement new features and improve existing ones.

Data and System Integration

• Work with MySQL/MariaDB, Redis.
• Integrate and manage high-throughput message queues (e.g., Kafka).

Team Leadership

• Mentor and onboard developers.
• Promote best practices and clean code principles.
• Review code and provide structured feedback.

Collaboration and Process

• Participate in CI/CD workflows for smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration needs.
• Stay current with PHP trends and propose improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in PHP development, with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience in designing complex solutions using PHP libraries and frameworks (Laravel preferred)
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, clean code principles, and automated testing methodologies.
• Extensive experience in MySQL, with expertise in database design, query optimization, and indexing.
• Experience of work with NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis).
• Experience with Docker.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests (PHPUnit).
• Intermediate English communication skills.

Would be beneficial

• Experience with Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Vagrant
• Experience with Kafka messaging
