Our Game Acceleration department works directly with newly acquired studios to accelerate their growth, improve stability, and enhance delivery processes. We serve as an additional technical force that helps studios integrate into Playtika’s ecosystem while maintaining their unique identity. Our team specializes in cross-studio knowledge sharing, implementing best practices, and solving complex technical challenges across various game platforms.

Project Environment

• · Automation stack including TypeScript, Node.js, Playwright
• · CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Jenkins
• · Containerized testing environments with Kubernetes, Docker
• · Cross-platform game testing (web, iOS, Android)
• · Integration with game analytics and backend services
• · High-load testing scenarios for game servers built with Go
• · Unity-based game client testing and integration
• · Complex frontend testing for interactive game elements

Responsibilities

• · Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java
• · Create reliable and scalable UI automation tests for mobile, and Unity-based game interfaces
• · Integrate automation solutions into the CI/CD workflow (TeamCity, Jenkins)
• · Support and optimize existing test infrastructure in containerized environments
• · Develop API test automation for Go-based backend game services
• · Work with development teams using Unity and Go to ensure testability
• · Collaborate with development teams to implement testability into product design
• · Identify opportunities for test coverage improvement and automation efficiency
• · Analyze test results and provide detailed failure reports
• · Participate in cross-studio knowledge sharing and best practices implementation
• · Set up monitoring for automated test execution and results
• · Document automation strategies, frameworks, and processes for knowledge transfer

Requirements

• · 3+ years of experience in test automation
• · Strong programming skills in Java
• · Experience with modern test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• · Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing
• · Understanding of software development processes and QA methodologies
• · Experience with version control systems
• · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• · Well-developed soft skills and team collaboration abilities
• · Experience adapting testing approaches to different technology stacks
• · Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (good speaking and writing skills)

Nice to Have

• · Experience with Unity game testing and understanding of Unity-specific game mechanics
• · Familiarity with C# for Unity test integration
• · Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• · Experience with Go programming language basics for backend test automation
• · Experience testing Go microservices and REST APIs
• · Experience with performance and load testing automation
• · Familiarity with mobile test automation frameworks
• · Understanding of test data management strategies
• · Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
• · Knowledge of testing in cloud environments
• · Understanding of accessibility testing
• · Basic knowledge of backend systems and database testing
