Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Networking Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with advanced networking technologies and equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to network architecture and security.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network equipment, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including protocol and connectivity problems.
• Configure and manage dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Implement and oversee network protocols including VLAN, VXLAN, LACP/MLAG/MC-LAG, and EVPN.
• Optimize and maintain Kubernetes networking and VMware NSX environments.
• Manage load balancing solutions, utilizing F5 BIG-IP and IPVS.
• Ensure the security and efficiency of web protocols and connectivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with Network Equipment:
  
  • Hands-on expertise with Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and Fortinet devices.
• Network Experience and Troubleshooting Skills:
  
  • Strong understanding of Internet Protocols and their configurations.
  • Proficient in dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
  • Solid grasp of various network protocols and their applications (VLAN, VXLAN, LACP/MLAG/MC-LAG, EVPN).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts and configurations.
  • Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization.
    
• Load Balancing Expertise:
  
  • Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP and IPVS.
  • Thorough understanding of web protocols and load balancing principles.
    
• SAN (Storage Area Network) Experience/Understanding:
  
  • Knowledge of SAN technologies and devices, including Brocade and Cisco.
  • Experience with SAN zoning, SAN virtual fabrics/vSAN, and fiber channel operations.
