Playtech‘s System Test Group unit is looking for QA Tech Lead with great communication skills.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will... 

• Lead and mentor a team of junior testing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their growth and professional development
• Plan, prioritize and assign testing tasks to team members based on product requirements and deadlines
• Define and implement regression testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure comprehensive coverage of software products
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases for regression testing, ensuring they are comprehensive, reusable, and well-documented
• Execute regression test plans and monitor test results to identify defects, track their resolution, and ensure the overall quality of the software
• Monitor and report on testing progress, defect trends, test coverage, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas of improvement to management
• Identify and report testing risks, issues, and bottlenecks to product stakeholders, and propose effective solutions or mitigation strategies
• Continuously evaluate and improve the testing process, methodologies, and tools to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, managers, and product owners, to gather testing requirements and acceptance criteria
• Ensuring smooth coordination and timely delivery of regression testing activities
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, provide feedback, and address any issues or challenges encountered during the testing process

Qualifications

Components for success. You... 

• Should have 4+ years of experience in a technical environment in the role of QA and minimum 1 year as a TL
• Must have BS or MS in Computer Science or Degree in a similar field
• Should have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
• Demonstrate a deep understanding testing methodologies, tools, techniques and processes
• Possess very good analytical skills
• Have good spoken and written English proficiency
• Demonstrate good attention to detail, a sense of curiosity, willingness to take responsibility, show initiative, and good communication skills
• Have the ability to learn quickly and the willingness to continuously improve yourself
• Are a self-motivated proactive individual with a positive attitude
• Show good problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented

SYSTEM TEST GROUP UNIT

The System Test Group (STG) at Playtech is responsible for Regression and Sanity Testing: Ensuring the stability and core functionality of various Playtech products across different platforms (Desktop, Web, Mobile, Native) through regression and sanity testing. As well Cross-Product Testing Support: Collaborating with other Playtech teams to facilitate comprehensive testing that considers interactions between different products within the Playtech ecosystem.
