Description:

Playtech BI and data team are responsible for collecting, organizing, presenting & utilizing data across all Playtech products and services. The team is growing, accounting for almost 20 developers, data scientists and product managers.
BI in Playtech isn’t just used internally but also offered to licensees as a product.
The data science team is comprised of 10 data scientists who operate like a regular development team. The team develops production systems such as: personalized recommendations, replacing business rules configuration with real-time models, churn detection and more. The models control every major aspect of the player user experience.

Job Purpose:

Develop production data science applications in Python, end to end.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new AI services from scratch.
• Maintain and enhance the current production services.
• Closely cooperate with R&D and DevOps teams.
• Research, invent and adapt machine learning algorithms for dedicated business needs.
• Perform predictive and statistical modelling.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as required.

Qualification

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as business-oriented data scientist, with a proven track record of innovative solutions in tabular or time-series data.
• A minimum of 5 years in writing Python production code,
showcasing proficiency in solving complex problems in various development environments.
• Advanced understanding of machine learning algorithms,
capable of independently selecting and applying the most effective models.
• Strong skills in data manipulation and SQL.
• Strong team player, with excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in
a remote environment.
• Experience in the online/internet industry is a plus.
• High level of English.

Education

• BS in Economics\Mathematics\Statistics a Must
• MS Economics\Mathematics\Statistics Preferred
