Lead Performance Test Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are seeking for a talented and motivated individual to contribute to performance testing in System Test group as Performance Team Lead. 
As a Lead of Performance Testing Team, you will be responsible for managing performance team, take part in debugging, configuration, and troubleshooting complex applications and infrastructure performance issues.
This process includes but not limited to researching for a suitable solution, troubleshooting issues, interacting and collaborating with plenty of technical resources such as developers, DBAs and architects across entire company.

Required:

— BS or MS in Computer Science or Degree in a similar field

— 2+ years of leading performance testing team experience

— 4+ years of performance testing experience
— Strong understanding of performance testing via API
— Good understanding of networking, web protocols, services, applications and their performance requirements
— Be familiar with standard software development and quality processes, methodologies and tools
— Practical experience with tools: JMeter, Fiddler, Wireshark
— Practical experience with: Python, Rest, Java, Git, Bash Code
— Working experience in both Windows and UNIX environments.
— Good spoken and written English
— Strong time management, self-motivated proactive personality with positive attitude
— Able to work on multiple interfaces and projects simultaneously

— Ability to learn quickly and willingness to continuously improve yourself

Good to have:

— Knowledge in cloud and monitoring platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Grafana, Graphite, Kibana)
— Knowledge in performance tuning
— Work experience in gambling/gaming industry
— Education in the field of Quality Assurance

Duties:

— Lead and oversee the performance testing team, including organizing planning, design, and testing activities to ensure effective implementation of performance testing best practices.

— Generate accurate and detailed performance test reports, utilizing graphical and statistical data to describe application business, performance metrics, and identified defects or potential causes of performance degradation. Tracking over time product performance improvements.

— Analyze test results and trace the sequence of events leading to failures or performance issues.

— Manage and track the workload of the team, providing regular feedback on project progress and team performance.

— Collaborate daily with multiple stakeholders, including solution managers, DevOps, project managers, and representatives from other teams.

— Communicate with internal development teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality expectations are met.

— Contribute to the ongoing improvement, provide training and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering their skills and knowledge in performance testing methodologies, tools, and technologies. Encourage continuous learning and staying up to date with industry best practices.
