Requirements:

— At least 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer with a proven track record of managing and developing IT infrastructure;
— Strong expertise in network technologies, including deploying and supporting core network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, IPSEC, LACP, DNS, DHCP, and authentication/authorization protocols;
— Strong troubleshooting skills in networking and systems engineering;
— 5+ years of experience with Linux OS and strong knowledge of Linux OS architecture;
— Ability to understand and analyze systems architecture and plan upgrades and improvements;
— 3+ years of experience with high loaded 24/7 systems management.
— Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, or Python to automate tasks and processes;
— Configuration management experience with Ansible;
— Virtualisation and Container management: VMWare, VSphere (VDS), Kubernetes, Docker;
— DB management: PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis;
— Advanced system performance diagnostics, analysis, monitoring, and logging skills using tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK;
— Solid understanding of backup systems, including configuration and maintenance.

Software management:
— Kubernetes, Helm;
— Nginx;
— PostgreSQL;
— Elasticsearch;
— Redis;
— OpenVPN;
— Zabbix;
— Grafana;
— CI/CD management (GitHub, Jenkins).

Responsibilities:

— Analyze and troubleshoot systems bottlenecks. Plan and implement systems improvements;
— Analyze systems architecture. Plan and deploy changes according to modern software/architecture design approaches;
— Evaluate & document existing infrastructure;
— Periodically evaluate the network/server infrastructure for security & performance improvements;
— Document the provisioning and configuration of server infrastructure using Ansible;
— Enhance and support of server infrastructure capabilities by configuring existing infrastructure and utilizing new technologies;
— Implement and support monitoring tools. Monitor infrastructure and support it according to systems monitoring data;
— Collaborate with an existing team of managers & engineers to produce high quality collocation operation;
— Backup system management;
— Help with implementation and integration of CI/CD.
