We are looking for a talented Unreal Engine 4 Tech Artist to join our team! ATTENTION: Pingle Studio DOES NOT HIRE from Russian Federation.
Main responsibilities:
— Create and customize materials for various needs, including mobile devices;
— Create and customize VFX effects;
— Adjust the lighting in the scene, atmospheric / weather effects;
— Model and texture objects of the environment, architecture;
— Optimize content for the requirements of mobile devices;
— Work with Blueprints.
Required skills:
— Confident 3ds Max or Maya packages user;
— Knowledge of import/export of FBX, material settings, and collisions;
— Solid skills of working with bitmap graphics software;
— Experience with UE4;
— Understanding of the basic principles of creating artistic and atmospheric effects (magic, shots, water, dust, fog, rain, etc.);
— Texture creation skills;
— Knowledge of the basics of composition and color science;
— Observation and perseverance.
Will be an advantage:
— Skills of sculpting and character modeling;
— Knowledge of the basics of working with rig and animation;
— Procedure texturing software knowledge;
— Particle system building skills.
