Requirements

• Understanding and experience with Kubernetes.
• Comprehensive understanding of database architectures and operational principles.
• Knowledge of networking models, including the OSI model.
• Insight into operating systems and their structures.
• Development experience in one of the following languages: Go, Python
• Experience working with AWS
• Practical experience with GitLab/GitLab CI or GitHub.
• Knowledge of REST/RPC/binary protocols and transports.
• Experience with infrastructure as code.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices.
• Analytical abilities, a creative approach, and a readiness to work in a team.
• Skills in management and work organization.
• English level: Intermediate+

Will be plus

• Education in the STEM field.
• Experience in DevOps and understanding its future relevance.
• Understanding distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with monitoring systems and telemetry.
• Familiarity with technologies: NATS, AWS, ClickHouse, MongoDB, RedShift, Grafana, Consul, Envoy, API Gateway, Kubernetes, Cloud Formation, Terraform.
• Front-end experience

Responsibilities

• Participation in the team’s research projects: conducting studies, creating prototypes, running experiments.
• Generating alternative solutions together with the team.
• Consulting production teams on the implementation of R&D results.
• Knowledge sharing within the team and creating research artefacts.
