About ROLE:

As a Knowledge Graph & Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our OrientDB Knowledge Graph, as well as building and maintaining the backend infrastructure that supports our AI-driven platform. You will work across data modeling, graph querying, API development, and system integration, ensuring a robust and scalable platform.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge Graph Engineering:

— Design and implement the OrientDB Knowledge Graph schema, ensuring accurate representation of data and relationships;

— Develop and optimize graph queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis;

— Implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines to populate and maintain the Knowledge Graph;

— Integrate the Knowledge Graph with the table service, LLM, and other system components;

— Implement and maintain RabbitMQ connections for real-time data updates;

— Monitor and maintain the Knowledge Graph’s performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Backend Development:

— Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between system components;

— Integrate the LLM, Knowledge Graph (OrientDB), table service, and other system modules;

— Implement data storage and retrieval mechanisms, ensuring data integrity and performance;

— Develop and maintain system monitoring and logging for performance analysis and troubleshooting;

— Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure system security;

— Implement RabbitMQ message consumption and production;

— Collaborate with the AI/ML and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality;

— Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;

— Troubleshoot and resolve data and backend-related issues.

Qualifications:

— Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;

— 3+ years of proven experience in both graph database management (OrientDB preferred) and backend development;

— Strong understanding of graph data modeling and querying;

— Proficiency in query languages (SQL, Gremlin, OrientDB query language);

— Proficiency in Python (or other relevant languages);

— Experience with API development and microservices architecture;

— Strong understanding of database interactions and data storage;

— Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ);

— Experience with system monitoring and logging tools;

— Proficiency in English (spoken and written);

— Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

— Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

— Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
