About ROLE:

As an AI/Machine Learning & Data Engineer, you will be responsible for both developing and optimizing the core AI capabilities of our system and building and maintaining the data pipelines and infrastructure that power it. You will work across the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion and transformation to AI model training and deployment. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a robust, efficient, and intelligent data platform.

Responsibilities:

AI/Machine Learning:

— Fine-tune and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) like DeepSeek R1 14b for query generation, data analysis, and action generation;

— Develop and implement algorithms for schema understanding and reasoning within a Knowledge Graph environment;

— Create and manage training datasets for LLM fine-tuning, ensuring data quality and relevance;

— Integrate LLMs with our OrientDB Knowledge Graph and other system components;

— Evaluate and optimize AI model performance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability;

— Implement and maintain Ollama local LLM server;

Data Engineering:

— Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage;

— Implement data cleaning and validation processes to ensure data quality and consistency;

— Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and file systems;

— Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions;

— Implement data monitoring and logging for performance analysis and troubleshooting;

— Data gathering from various sources;

— Work with data from OrientDB graph database;

— Collaborate with the Knowledge Graph and Backend teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality;

— Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;

— Troubleshoot and resolve data and AI-related issues.

Qualifications:

— Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field;

— 3+ years of proven experience in both AI/ML model development and data engineering;

— Strong understanding of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow);

— Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and knowledge graph technologies;

— Proficiency in Python and SQL;

— Experience with data ingestion and transformation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Apache Spark);

— Experience with data warehousing solutions;

— Experience with local LLM server deployment, Ollama experience preferred;

— Experience with OrientDB or other graph databases is a plus;

— Proficiency in English (spoken and written);

— Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

— Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

— Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
