About Us:

We are a US-based web hosting company that serves clients globally. We are dedicated to providing our customers with top-tier network solutions, and we are seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves maintaining the stability of our company networks and diagnosing network issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues using a variety of network tools.
2. Maintain and support the company’s LAN/WAN environment.
3. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
4. Implement and coordinate network changes and upgrades.
5. Execute daily maintenance tasks such as reviewing system and application logs and verifying the completion of scheduled tasks.
6. Obtain and maintain required certifications for partnerships with key vendors.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in network engineering.
2. CCNA or equivalent certification.
3. Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, IPv6, VRRP.
4. Operational Linux System Administration.
5. Proficiency in Cisco specific networking and familiarity with IOS.
6. Practical experience in implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.

Desirable Skills:

1. Familiarity with Arista/Force10/Brocade.
2. Experience with Wireless Access Points — bonus points for Xirrus.
3. Experience with Perl language.
