Trainee/Junior Python developer (вакансія неактивна)

PettersonApps is an outsourcing software engineering company based in West of Ukraine. We develop websites, mobile applications and software for digital media players. Our company has offices in Uzhhorod (Zakarpattia region) and Drohobych (Lviv region).

We have been on the market for 9 years. PettersonApps teams launched 300+ projects. Our clients are from 20+ countries (e.g. Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK and USA). Since we are constantly growing, we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We’re currently looking for a Python developer.

Requirements:

• Foundational knowledge of Python and a solid understanding of OOP principles;
  
  
• Hands-on experience with Django REST Framework (can be through pet projects, studies, or internships);
  
  
• Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite);
  
  
• Understanding of version control using Git (basic operations like commits, branches, and pull requests);
  
  
• English level: Upper-Intermediate — confident in both written and spoken communication.
  
  
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional Python frameworks (like Django, Flask, FastAPI);
  
  
• Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how APIs integrate with web applications;
  
  
• Understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines;
  
  
• Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
