Regarding the position

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll have a central role in molding the outcome of our sales initiatives at PettersonApps. Your key responsibilities will revolve around lead generation, crafting innovative sales strategies, overseeing proposal administration, and fostering seamless communication within our dynamic team and across departments. Your aptitude for coordinating and underpinning the pre-sales workflow will contribute to the smooth execution of deals, thereby elevating PettersonApps comprehensive sales proficiency.


  • Continuously communicate with potential clients to facilitate smooth information sharing and to build strong relationships with them
  • Develop sales strategies and engage with new clients to generate leads through platforms like LinkedIn, social media etc.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals, competitors, and potential clients
  • Conducting market research and analyzing data for strategic planning
  • Contribute to go/no-go decisions by evaluating the feasibility and alignment of potential deals
  • Maintain positive business connections to secure future sales
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, fostering a strong working relationship to enhance deal execution
  • Conduct regular meetings with pre-sale team members to provide guidance, support their professional evolution, and design personalized development pathways.


  • Proven experience in pre-sales, proposal management, or related roles
  • Solid grasp of both the technical and business aspects of sales procedure
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to organize, visualize, and assimilate data
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse, cross-functional teams
  • High level of emotional intelligence and quick adaptability to dynamic environments
  • Fluent business English.
