We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join PeopleForce who can work with the business to help shape and drive business requirements with an initial focus on finance. The ideal candidate would have good technical knowledge and be able to work with internal stakeholders in order to synthesize requests from business into well formulated, actionable business requirements that are documented and actionable by developers in Jira.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and facilitate workshops in order to identify business pain points, as well as design business processes and solutions to address them. The candidate would conduct detailed analysis on current business processes and systems, and leverage data in the data warehouse to support detailed analysis for the business and shape business requirements.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • English B2 level — must have.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Domain (Software Engineering or equivalent).
  • Prior experience working in the Finance domain is an advantage.
  • Prior experience working in the HR domain is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discussions and workshops with relevant stakeholders to document & capture processes and requirements.
  • Simplifying complex technical concepts into clear and understandable language for non-technical staff.
  • Ability to interpret data and produce reports to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirement dependencies and impacts are accurately mapped and agreed. 
  • Produce supporting technical specifications such as interface specifications, page definitions and data mapping & data migration rule specifications.
  • Analyse data in the warehouse and other systems to ensure business requirements are addressed.
  • Process Optimisation: identify inefficiencies in existing business processes and recommend automation or system enhancements.

Nice to have:

  • Strong experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for technical delivery.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira).
  • Good understanding of API’s, Databases and System integrations.
  • Good proficiency in BI Reporting tools e.g. Looker, Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to investigate/analyse data in Data Warehouse and other systems.
  • Excellent Problem-solving Skills.
