Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer
What will you do
Test Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (think Selenium, Postman, or similar).
- Create and execute test cases for functional, performance, and end-to-end testing.
Microservices and API Testing:
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand microservices architecture and APIs.
- Proficient use of Postman creation and maintenance of test scripts.
- Design and execute API tests to validate functionality, security, and performance.
Performance Testing:
- Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Work hand-in-hand with developers to optimize system performance.
- Commercial experience using JMeter.
Test Documentation:
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Experience with Testrail tool
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation for future reference.
Collaboration:
Team up with cross-functional colleagues (developers, product managers, and other QA engineers) to seamlessly integrate quality processes.
What is required
Strong Automation Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages like C# for test automation.
- Bonus points if you have experience with JavaScript for automation testing.
Microservices and API Knowledge:
- Understand microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to design and execute API tests effectively.
