The Head of Business will drive revenue growth, сlient acquisition, and client retention for the PaySaxass fintech solutions. This role will lead the Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams to create a unified strategy that delivers outstanding value to clients, builds strong relationships, and supports scalable business expansion.

For this position, the candidate must be located in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Leadership:
    1. Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve growth targets.
    2. Lead and manage the sales team, including setting KPIs/OKRs, tracking performance, and coaching for success.
    3. Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients and strategic partners to drive new business opportunities.
    4. Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
  2. Marketing Strategy:
    1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and build brand awareness in the PaySaxas target markets.
    2. Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales goals.
    3. Oversee content creation, market positioning, and thought leadership strategies.
  3. Client Success and Account Management:
    1. Lead the Account Management team to ensure strong client relationships, high satisfaction, and long-term retention.
    2. Identify and implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize client value.
    3. Establish processes to monitor client health and proactively address potential risks.
  4. Business Strategy and Growth:
    1. Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive threats to inform business strategy.
    2. Develop pricing models and go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
    3. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure offerings meet client needs and market demands.
  5. Operational Excellence:
    1. Establish scalable processes and best practices for sales, marketing, and account management functions.
    2. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:
    1. Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent within the sales, marketing, and account management teams.
    2. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on achieving results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B business development, sales, or commercial leadership roles, within fintech or crypto sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales pipeline management and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Experience leading marketing campaigns and account management functions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience building high-performing teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of fintech products, crypto products, financial services, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Experience managing multi-regional or global sales teams.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and B2B customer engagement.
