Previous experience in an online fraud prevention environment is desirable
Knowledge and experience with tools and techniques used to identify and prevent fraud
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to spot trends and identify unusual patterns
At least High Intermediate English
Knowledge of SQL
Programming background (PHP) is a plus
Experience with Python, R, VBA, or other automation-focused languages is a big plus

Proactively identify problems and opportunities and perform root cause analysis/diagnosis leading to significant business impact
Internalize our business, end-to-end, in order to determine appropriate KPIs and perform analysis to understand the impacts of business initiatives
Support our growing business team with clean, actionable data;
Define analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve productivity;
Understand required data, identify where data sets reside and their underlying structure to manipulate through SQL queries
Review flagged orders on the internal system
Investigate any cases of actual or suspected fraud and noncompliance
Monitor and identify patterns within fraudulent activities
Evaluate the effectiveness of fraud detection systems and strategies
