AI-Driven Engineering Culture

We are actively building an AI-driven engineering organization with a clear and deliberate stance: artificial intelligence is a core part of how we build and deliver software — not an experiment, not a trend, and not an optional add-on.

The Role

You’ll be the technical leader and product advocate for our backoffice system, driving both technical excellence and user experience for internal operations.

What you will be doing

• Lead technical architecture and contribute to product roadmap for backoffice systems supporting compliance, risk, and support operations
• Drive UX and workflow excellence by analyzing internal user journeys and eliminating friction for non-technical users
• Mentor and elevate the development team, setting high standards for engineering quality and thoughtful design
• Design and develop full-stack features connecting Retool frontends with scalable Java/Spring Boot backend APIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of system reliability, security, and usability while managing technical debt

What we are looking for

• Extensive production experience with Java ecosystem and strong understanding of JVM internals
• Excellent system design skills with ability to implement scalable architectures and optimize database performance
• Deep understanding of messaging concepts (Kafka or similar) and concurrency principles
• Strong sense of user experience and workflow design beyond just functional correctness
• Proven leadership experience including mentoring, technical discussions, and team collaboration
• Upper-intermediate English with clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
