The role
As a Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of our team, focusing on creating clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation. Your role will involve collaborating closely with design, engineering, and product management teams to develop and maintain technical documentation that supports our innovative products and services.
Key responsibilities — what you’ll be doing
- Work closely with design, engineering, and product management to create and maintain user-focused technical documentation that supports multiple application or product features.
- Create technical diagrams to illustrate structure and mechanism.
- Understand the intricacies of Patrianna products and become an expert in the specific features and user base you support.
- Develop content strategies for multiple applications, detailing information architecture, textual content, and multimedia assets.
- Contribute directly to the creation of high-quality technical content and coordinate the efforts of subject matter experts, reviewers, and other writers.
- Maintain strict revision control of documentation and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all work.
- Adapt to changing priorities and contingencies, showcasing resilience in a dynamic work environment.
Experience & skills:
- 6+ years of experience writing and editing software documentation and content
- Must have intermediate-level skills with Technical documentation tools (Confluence, JIRA, word) e.g. SOPs, user manuals, etc.
- Samples of your prior technical writing work that demonstrate your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly
- Experience defining content strategy and leading content development projects for new products.
- Experience influencing or leading diverse, collaborative writing or project teams; helping teammates and stakeholders identify and adapt to changing priorities and other contingencies.
- Proactive, always looking ahead and spotting potential problems
- Resilient in dealing with changing priorities and uncertainty
