Essential professional experience:
— 2 years of administering and designing PostgreSQL databases;
— Understanding of relational and dimensional database theory and concepts;
— Practical hands-on experience with database administration,backup and recovery, performance tuning and high-availability solutions;
— Understanding of Postgres database server architecture, extensions,concepts, features, and high-availability technologies;
— Experience with database replication, hot stand-by, logical, trade-offs and table partitioning;
— Linux platform familiarity, system resource monitoring and tuning.
