Project Description:

We have been developing an ecosystem of e-government products for a foreign client for the past five years. The platform is an electronic cabinet with a set of electronic services that allow both citizens and expats to communicate effectively with the state. Hundreds of people use these products every minute and the number of users is only growing.

DevOps Team contributes both to the regular operation tasks and the business scope which follows the aim of developing and integrating the new technologies within the project as well as supporting and maintaining the currently implemented solutions. With different directions to work with, our DevOps Team is divided into several streams where the main business aims are defined and executed by the group of dedicated DevOps Engineers.

Project Technical Overview:

• OS: Ubuntu Linux, high troubleshooting skills expected
• Containerization/Orchestration: docker-compose, k8s Rancher is in development
• CI/CD: GitLab CI, ArgoCD is in development
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terragrunt
• Observability: EFK stack (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana), OpenTelementry + Elastic APM, Sentry
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, AlertManager
• Compliance / Security: SonarQube, Trivy, DefectDojo, GitLab Ultimate
• Scripting: Bash, Python
• Configuration Management: Ansible
• Identity / Access Management: Keycloak, Teleport
• Infrastructure Provider: on-premise

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong in Terraform
• Observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/Elastic/OpenTelemetry) or similar
• Proficient in Configuration Management tools. Preferably Ansible
• Docker
• Scripting: bash, Python
• Understanding of DevOps culture and best practices in the industry

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Terragrunt / Terramate
• GitLab
• Elastic Enterprise features (Fleet and APM)
• Fluentd/Fluentbit
• k8s is a plus
• DevSecOps experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure and applications;
• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Set up and maintain observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, or similar;
• Manage configuration using tools like Ansible to ensure system consistency and reliability;
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker;
• Write and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to automate operational tasks;
• Promote and implement DevOps / DevSecOps culture and best practices across the engineering team;
• Integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI;
• Leverage Elastic Stack enterprise features including Fleet and APM for enhanced logging and monitoring;
• Work with Fluentd/Fluentbit for log aggregation and processing.
