Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/React)

We develop international online marketplaces where individual contractors or companies can offer their services in the field of housework from renovation to cleaning and find clients.

Requirements:

▻ Strong base in Node.js and React
▻ Solid understanding of TypeScript
▻ Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
▻ Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
▻ Understanding of system design principles, patterns, industry standards, and best practices
▻ Familiarity with the software development life cycle

Will be a plus:

▻ Working with queues e.g. RabbitMQ
▻ Proficiency with frameworks Next.js and Nest.js
▻ Familiarity with CI/CD
▻ Experience with PHP

Responsibilities:

▻ Collaborate closely with product owner and designer to implement new features and enhance existing functionality using Node.js and React
▻ Support and maintain the current system, ensuring its stability and performance
▻ Refactor legacy code and architecture into a modern, scalable system to enhance maintainability and extensibility. Currently, our backend is implemented in PHP. However, as part of our forward-thinking approach, we are contemplating transitioning to Node.js at least for development of new features
