Senior React Native Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer to join a product-oriented team working on a cross-platform mobile application with hardware integration. The app communicates with a device via Bluetooth and interacts with various backend services, offering users a smooth and reliable experience across iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality React Native mobile application for iOS and Android.
• Implement and evolve core app features, user flows, and integrations.
• Integrate the mobile app with backend APIs and Bluetooth/BLE communication.
• Ensure the performance, stability, and scalability of the application.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, backend, and firmware teams.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Maintain clean, testable, and well-structured code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile performance and connectivity.
• Support app-store release processes and post-release monitoring.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with Expo.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and cross-platform development.
• Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data flows.
• Practical expertise in native mobile concepts (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.).
• Experience optimizing and debugging mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a product-driven environment.
• At least an upper-intermediate level of English language proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Bluetooth / BLE integrations or hardware-connected apps.
• Background in HealthTech, Wellness, or IoT products.
• Knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Familiarity with mobile app security and data protection practices.
• Understanding of App Store / Google Play publication and compliance processes.
• Experience with mobile test automation.
• Exposure to wearable or embedded systems integration.
