Senior DevOps Engineer (MS stack, Azure) (вакансія неактивна)

Oxagile, a leading-edge full-cycle custom software development company, is looking for a proactive, experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Kyiv office.

You will work at the challenging projects that utilize state-of-the-art technologies and deliver value to high-profile clients across Europe and the United States brands such as Disney, JumpTV, Discovery, Google, Vodafone, etc.

Project: The customer is a multinational electronics corporation.

Development of the system for video recording, streaming, and playback for the US public safety, nature conservation departments, and other special services. The system consists of body-worn cameras, in-car cameras, transmitting in-car devices, and complex software systems managing them all. The software is installed on multiple on-prem servers (Windows + Linux) and must be synchronized between all of them, Ansible and MSI installer are used for installation.

The project has complicated architecture and wide technology stack: Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Azure, Windows 2012/2016 Server, Linux.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft based production systems. Linux based systems as on option.
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud:
  • ARM templates writing, setup automation for resources provisioning (Azure PowerShell)
  • Azure services (Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Storage Account, Api Gateway
  • Understanding of load balancers, DNS, virtual networks and firewalls in cloud environment
  • Setup monitoring (performance metrics, OMS)
  • Active Directory basics:
  1. Azure AD authentication
  2. Users and groups
  3. Roles
  • CI/CD for JAVA/.NET projects experience. Manage, develop, build CI/CD pipeline, including:
  1. Check code quality
  2. PowerShell scripting for custom tasks automation
  3. Environments strategy understanding
  • Customer-oriented, diligent, proactive, focused on achieving customer’s business objectives as top priority
  • Able to work successfully both individually and as a team member
  • Easy-going, friendly, communicative, positive in relations with colleagues, in every situation strives to see opportunities rather than problems
  • English good enough to communicate with foreign customers both orally and in written — Intermediate (B1) level and higher

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft Azure knowledge
  • Ansible
  • Redis
  • Nexus / Artifactory

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage CI/CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Manage and support customer multi-tenancy environments in Microsoft Azure Сloud
  • Consult customers on technical aspects of installation, sizing, scaling
  • Support development teams in technical questions of continuous integration/continuous delivery, delivery organizations
  • Manage the full release process
