● 6+ years as a software engineer
● 1+ years as a technical team leader
● Experience in delivering of complex Java based solutions, from technical design to product release and governance
● Experience in Hadoop-related technologies (e.g., Map/Reduce, Spark, Hive, or HBase)
● Strong expertise in data storage design principles. Understanding of pros and cons of SQL/NoSQL solutions, their types and configurations (standalone/cluster, column/row oriented, key-value/document stores)
● Expertise in Java 8
● Experience in *nix environments
● Experience in building scalable / highly available APIs (REST & JAX-RS is a plus)
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

● Lead the design and implementation of complex solutions. You’ll work with Java REST services, big data technologies like Spark, and both SQL and NoSQL storage technologies.
● Design new features to deliver outstanding value to our clients.
● Design and implement new processes for analyzing large volumes of data for millions of utility customers.
● Collaborate with other tech leads and engineers at Oracle Utilities.
● Own your features and understand how they fit into the broader Oracle software ecosystem.
● Work along with your team to deliver high quality software, lead code reviews, adhere to best practices and code standards, and thoroughly test your deliverables.
● Visit the US to participate in discussion with technical leadership onsite.
