Bachelor’s or Master degree in computer science or a related field

5+ years of software engineering or related experience, including 2+ years in leading a software development team

Primary job responsibilities:
Ensure that all people management processes and related practices are professionally implemented with a special emphasize in optimizing the learning through developing and coaching the team members in their assigned projects.
Motivate team and maintain a comfortable and conducive working environment
Drive standardization of processes and technologies, apply effective Lessons Learned practices, exchange knowledge across teams. Continuously evaluate development processes and implement improvements affecting efficiency.
Ensure that technical solutions and code corresponds to the product requirements and target quality standards.
Apply knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
