We are looking for a Junior or Middle DevSecOps Engineer to join Oracle Field Service (OFS) — SysOps Team. The ideal candidate is technically strong and able to work with complexity and ambiguity and have experience in deploying/configuring/operating infrastructure related elements in any of the following public cloud providers — OCI, AWS, Azure or GCP. They can balance speed with iteration and incremental improvements with up-to-date trends/concepts to help maintain/design/develop/implement the Infrastructure set-up required and deployment architecture for the product.
As a DevSecOps, within the OFS — SysOps team, you will assist in designing and maintaining hosting, process, transform, and analyze operational processes related to OFS Infrastructure components. You need to manage/deploy compute instances, storage, networks and other infrastructure elements as a part of the OFS deployment architecture using IaC with broad knowledge of the following: Linux, networking, servers, virtualization, security, availability, resiliency, redundancy, alerting, and monitoring. You will work together with Development teams to evolve systems/products for better scalability, reliability and security. You will also author and maintain operational run books and SOP to help reduce mean Time of Incidents (TOI), and be responsible for managing and triaging operational tickets pertaining to the IaaS/PaaS layer. Emphasis on driving prioritization and execution of work based on business impact is a must.
Candidates should have broad working knowledge across multiple domains, but we love specialization as well with relevant mindset. The basics we expect are : Linux Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Automation, experience with IaC and deploying services in any of the public cloud providers. Thus we are flexible to pursue an interview with a combination of the below-mentioned skills.
