OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based IT engineering company. We specifically focus on providing professional DevOps and System Administration Services, delivering complex Engineering Solutions and Digital Transformation. We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Senior Linux System Administrator who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers’ demands of service delivery and QoS. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role. We will work together to improve clients infrastructure development, configuration management, continuous integration and delivery processes to guarantee reliability, availability and high performance of the underlying environments. This is a full-time and a long-term position.
Your Qualifications/Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering or SRE;
- Outstanding knowledge of *nix systems;
- Moderate understanding of virtualization concepts (at least 2 of these: KVM, Xen, OpenVZ, ESXi);
- Solid LAMP or LEMP stack experience with HA systems implementation;
- Database administration skills (at least 1 of these: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
- Strong scripting skills (at least 2 of the following: Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, Groovy);
- Experience working with common systems management tools (at least 1 of these: Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, Chef);
- Upper-Intermediate English level is a must;
- Deep interest in DevOps streaming.
Nice to have:
- Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker/Rkt, ECS, K8s or similar)
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);
- Understanding of microservices architecture concept;
- Understanding of Infrastructure as a code paradigm.
You will be responsible for:
- System administration and DevOps support of worldwide development teams;
- Cloud architecture design and implementation;
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery implementation;
- APM and application ecosystem lifecycle monitoring.
