5+ years of experience as a database administrator;
Deep knowledge of database concepts, object and data modeling techniques and design principles;
Solid experience with RDBMS: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL;
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cassandra or other;
Experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka or other tools;
Experience with AWS/Cloud databases, data warehouses, data lakes design, provisioning, and tuning.
AWS Database Specialty certification or similar;
Strong mathematical background;
Experience with ETL tools and systems (Informatica ETL, Pentaho ETL, Talend or other);
Understanding of programing language (one of Python, Java, or Scala);
Good understanding of software development methodologies;
Good knowledge of statistics and probability theory.

Designing, developing, constructing, installing, testing and maintaining the complete data management & processing systems;
Development, implementation and automation of distributed system deployment for collecting and processing events from several sources;
Data schema development and management of internal data warehouses, data lakes, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL);
Perform tasks related to data migration;
Collaborating with software engineers to capture, format and prepare data for machine learning train and test;
Reviewing project documentation, analyzing requirements, ensuring architecture is planned in such a way that it meets all the business requirements;
Discovering various opportunities for data acquisitions and exploring new ways of using existing data;
Proposing ways to improve data quality, reliability & efficiency of the whole system;
Creating data models to reduce system complexity and hence increase efficiency & reduce cost;
Introducing new data management tools & technologies into the existing system to make it more efficient.

We are looking to expand our team with an experienced DataBase Administrator with experience in public and private clouds who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers’ demands of service delivery and quality of service. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role. We will work together to improve clients’ infrastructure development, configuration management, continuous integration, and delivery processes to guarantee reliability, availability, and high performance of the underlying environments.
