Experience with Linux/UNIX platforms;
Knowledge of TCP/IP;
Some Windows experience (both desktop and Server);
Ability to understand customers’ problems and offer the right solution;
Quick response time for urgent cases of emergency;
Customer-oriented, analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to details;
High degree of responsibility, strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize needs;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Intermediate English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;
ABILITY TO WORK IN AEST / PST TIME ZONES (2.00 — 11.00 by Kyiv);
Deep interest in system administration and willingness to learn and grow in this area.

Experience in technical support (level 1 or 2);
LAMP / LEMP stack knowledge;
Task tracking system experience (Jira);
Bash / Python scripting skills;

OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based IT engineering company. We specifically focus on providing professional DevOps and System Administration Services, delivering complex Engineering Solutions and Digital Transformation. We are looking to expand our team with a Support Engineer (evening and night shift) who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers’ demands of service delivery and QoS. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role. We will work together to design and build reliable and productive IT infrastructure, setup and configure servers and workstations, implement the newest technologies into the daily business routine, and help to manage the overall underlying environments. This is a full-time and long-term position.

We are a small but very diverse team. We are not looking to expand or hire aggressively as we prefer to give new employees the time to become an organic part of our team.
