Having worked with OpsWorks Co. for over two years now, I’ve been deeply impressed by the profound sense of professionalism and care that permeates every aspect of this company. Working fully remotely, I’ve experienced firsthand the flexibility and trust the company places in its employees.

You know the quote, “Real friendship is shown in times of trouble.” I think the same is true about jobs and companies.
When trouble comes, the natural face is shown. It’s not news that a part of us is situated in Ukraine. I reckon no need to explain the situation in Ukraine. All here between a rock and a hard place. I can make hindsight as there is almost a year left! And the face of the company in such an extreme situation is astonished. What I want to highlight is cooperation, support, coordination, and cohesion.
The company does not just consist of experts but unity, where you don’t have to sit on the fence feel perplexed and seek a solution. They’re all ready to share their knowledge and give a solution.
Many employers ask, “how do you work under pressure?” “dealing with high-pressure Deadlines.” To be honest, except that I can work under air defense serene, without electricity and ground internet. Even when in the whole country the electricity outage and rockets are flying overhead, I can continue to do what the client is waiting for from me and I will exceed his expectation. And primarily thankfully support from company side. I become so reliable and highly available then before. Who else can say that their engineers have independent sources for internet/electricity and can work under continuing unknowing. We are keep our powder dry and become so problem-resistant.
Long story short, this is the most outstanding company, proven by time. It’s a no-brainer fact.

Найпоказовішим критерієм компанії для мене є те які цілі вона ставить та як їх досягає, які цінності сповідує та чи діє спираючись на них і чи взагалі дії відповідають цілям та цінностям.
Минулий, 2022 рік був потужним випробовуванням як для компінії так і для співробітників. Ми з тим випробуванням впорались. Кожен робив все що міг для досягнення спільної мети. Співробітники виконували свою роботу попри все(звичайно не віддаючи безпеці друге місце), а при неможливості це робити — змінювали місце проживання; купували генератори/додаткове живлення/засоби зв’язку. Компанія при цьому продовжували виконувати свої попередні зобов’язання як роботодавець, так і підтримувала співробітників матеріально і морально у будь-якій ситуації.
Зрештої ми стали сильнішими і ще більш об’єднаними.

Проходив співбесіду в цю компанію. Враження, яке у мене виникло після проходження всього циклу співбесід в цю компанію залишилось дуже позитивне. Технічна співбесіда була цікавою та живою. Не відчував себе як на іспиті в універі :-)

I’ve been working for more than a year. And want to summarise my experience.

The company is solid and stable. In general, it’s well-established. Company cover extensive area of the IT industry: development, administration, security, cloud solutions, on-prems, etc.
People are motivated by creative engagement solutions that make the daily grind not just bearable, but fun and interesting. The company is trying to use the most innovative and employee-friendly company culture.

Company offer for their stuff:
* healthcare coverage (medical insurance)
* tuition reimbursement for continuing education,
* sabbatical program (compensation for success certification)
* working at home.

Doesn’t offer :
* retirement packages
* relocation package
* severance package

I don’t notice any drawbacks.

There are almost all fitness-loved coworkers. They are thinking about the mental and physical health of everyone.

If you prefer working at an office to working at home. The company offers paid modern office space (only in Kiev area).
If you would like to work in a well-established company with a good work environment (Kiev location). Working in OpsWorks Co. may become your dream job.

Totally worth applying their offer.

OpsWorks Co has became my first employer. I submitted my candidacy for a position of .NET Support, but fortunately they offered me a position of Juniour .NET Developer. I was working as outstaff worker in Brithish trading company ETXCapital.
It was reaaly great time and very usefull and important experience for me.
Despite the fact I was literally working not really at OpsWorks Co. I could mark some positive sides.
First of all there is really nice and friendly team with excellent management side who is always open to dialog and always tries to solve your problems.
Secondly company often organizes excellent team building events that were bringing our team closer.
In the end I want to tell some words about my work at ETX. It has good work organization and working values in the team. They consider you not like resourse but like personality first of all Unfortunately, I did not get enough challenging tasks, even sometimes they were a bit boring.
But overall I got beneficial and pleasant experience in OpsWorks Co. and ETXCapital)

I’ve been with OpsWorks Co. for 19 months, and I love the company!

Awesome people! The team is very professional and super friendly. I’ve always been supported by all means, I made new friends, and, in general, it’s very pleasant to work with such talented, and nice colleagues.

The company offers great working conditions: remote or office whatever works best for you. They provide whatever is needed for comfortable work! The HR department takes very good care of people — checking on them, making sure they are listened to and heard, offering team building events, and fun activities for those who like to socialize. From my first step into the company’s door through all the times, I’ve always felt supported and united.

The structure of the company and its processes are clear. And it’s easy and pleasant to deal with managers — high professionalism, respectful attitude, positive mindset, great leadership. If any issues arise, they are addressed and fixed asap. Feedback is well-received.

The company offered me professional growth, available training, certifications, mentorship, new opportunities! Paychecks always come on time, the review system is transparent, the tech we use is convenient.

OpsWorks Co. is about quality, focus on great goals but with attention to detail, and big love to technologies and people! Big kudos!

I’ve been working with OpsWorks Co. for a couple of months now. My journey began when Rano (one of their recruiters) contacted me with a proposal for a DevOps position. After the interview process (which was nice — they made me think and did not ask only “textbook” questions), I realized how well the company structure is, and my interest grew. They offer fully remote, permanent employment to people who are not even residents of Ukraine (such as myself). Work atmosphere is highly positive and people are genuinely trying to help you out when you have some kind of a problem (even if it’s personal). To sum up — it is pleasant and stress-free experience to work at OpsWorks!

OpsWorks Co. — это компания, где уже с первого дня я ощутил поддержку и заботу команды. Руководство компании заинтересовано в личностном росте каждого сотрудника. Стимулируют развитие, здесь ценится мотивация. Мне нравятся ивенты, корпоративные challenges , которые укрепляют и объединяют команду. Я считаю, это компания для мотивированных и целеустремлённых людей, которые хотят чего-то добиться и поработать с интересными проектами.

Работаю в компании немногим больше года. До этого был опыт работы на аналогичной должности в государственных структурах и хостинг компании. Также есть опыт в других сферах.
О компании OpsWorks Co. у меня в целом положительные впечатления.
— Во-первых СЕО — «наш» человек который приложил немалые усилия и прошел путь от support engineer в хостинг компании до собственной компании, при этом не только не утратив имеющиеся человеческие ценности, а наоборот, продолжает совершенствоваться. Благодаря этим ценностям, в момент основания компании рядом с ним были очень толковые специалисты и зрелые люди, которые продолжают работу в компании и сейчас. У компании чувствуется товарищеский, твердый и решительный характер.
— Отдельно важно ответить эффективную работу HR отдела и рекрутинга. Отличный подбор людей — работать в команде приятно.
— Если вы готовы жить или живете в Киеве и хотите работать в офисе — офис прекрасный. Там же и чай/кофе/печенье(в ассортименте)/плойка/мягкие пуфики/(кому что ещё надо для комфортной работы, скорее всего найдет).
— К организации удаленной работы вопросов нет, всё отлично.
— Есть инициативы — вам не помешают, а ещё и помогут.
— Оплата достойная.
Минусы, конечно есть. Но, во-первых, они не такие значимые чтобы их можно было применять как ярлык к компании, да и к тому же(оно же и во-вторых), к моменту когда вы читаете это сообщение их уже скорее всего взяли в спринт. Они же, в приемлемом количестве, несомненно способствуют профессиональному росту(комфортному).

Another year has passed since my last comment, and I’m still here, think about it;)
What can be distinguished over the past year... Have my positions changed? — Yes. Did the salary rise accordingly? — Yes. Along with this, were there any professional challenges? — Yes. Did I grow professionally during this period? — Yes. Do I still recommend OpsWorks Co? — Definitely yes!
It is comfortable to work here, the relationship is friendly, not forced.

I’ve been working for OpsWorks Co. for almost a year and a half as an English teacher and communication coach. The company is wonderful and it’s a very supportive and close environment. I really appreciate always having the support and freedom to try new things in my work, as well as plenty of opportunities for professional development. I’m thankful to have the ability to work remotely and it’s a testament to how much the company cares about its employees. Everyone is always willing to help when needed and if I need something for my job, it’s always provided. It’s always a real pleasure to have colleagues and management who make you feel genuinely appreciated, and I feel very lucky to have found such a great place to work.

Работаю тут год. Могу точно сказать, что компания — супер. И плюсов:
— Возможно работать как удаленно, так и в офисе.
— Отличный коллектив.
— Интересные и разнообразные проекты. Мало рутины. Очень быстро можно освоить/улучшить трендовые технологии.
— Современные технологии, очень мало legacy. Конечно зависит от клиента, но мне legacy особо не попадался.
— Технари берутся под конкретный проект, а в компанию. Если проект заканчивается, то быстро находится новый или некоторое время можно заниматься самообучением. Нет такого, что проект закончился, гребцы — до свидания.
— Регулярный пересмотр з/п, не для галочки, а действительно поднимают как з/п, так и лычки. Возможность развиваться и расти.
— Оплачиваемые овертаймы. Сколько наработал часов сверху, столько и оплатили. При этом никто не принуждает овертаймить.
— Открытый менеджмент. Можно прийти к любому и высказать своё мнение, к которому прислушиваются

Получилось как-то однобоко, но действительно не смог вспомнить каких-то выделяющихся минусов.

I work at OpsWorks for more than a year as a remote employee on the position — system administrator. OpsWorks builds its relationship on trust, no bureaucracy, you can ask about the day off or sick day if needed. The company gives access to tech literature, different courses, English lessons. The company gives me tasks with a different difficulty level for my personal growth. If you need help or don’t understand how to do the task — the guru guys will help with advice. From time to time the head of the company asks if everything I have for my job. When I came to the main office for the first time everybody met me like a friend who works at the office every day, despite the fact that I work remotely :) . I like this company very much.

OpsWorks is a great company! There are many talented and purposeful people. It’s a real pleasure to work with them. The climat inside is very positive and warm. And they have cookies ;)

It seems some time pass from my last comment here, yeah? Time passes, it is a fact, but I must admit there was no place for boredom in the Opsworks. The company is developing noticeably, there is a stable flow of information, new projects (and not a stream of employees, this is “hi” to my previous job ;) ) and new goodies. Based on experience, I can say that this is the place where you are appreciated.

OpsWorks is a great team to work with. I’m very particular when it comes to choose a company. I always consider attitude to people in the company more than anything else. I’m working with OpsWorks team almost a year and it means that I’m satisfied with the attitude ;) Here are some points to take into consideration:

1. The team is comparatively young and aims to think about customer satisfaction and personal growth of every employee.
2. You are quite independent in your actions and decisions. Nobody stays in from of you and checks what and how you do. They trust you and it teaches you to take responsibility for your actions.
3. No bureaucracy, everything is build on trust and mutual support: remote work from home whenever you feel you need it, flexible schedule, paid sick days without any medical reports.
4. You can take part in business development and suggest your vision on the company development doesn’t matter in what department you work with. So, you feel like you in particular build the company and its approach towards clients and challenges.

Those are the reasons why I prefer working in comparatively small companies when you feel more and more involved.

I responded to the vacancy of the “Junior DevOps Engineer”. After the short talk with recruiter receive test task. It was very interesting. But a little difficult for me. Answer for my results was very quickly.

OpsWorks is a vivid example of a company focusing on providing qualitative services. The company is actively developing and increases its intellectual capacity.
Among the main advantages I can list there are the following:
— Absence of unnecessary bureaucracy — everything is simple and clear;
— Ability to work remotely as well as working from the office;
— Salary is always paid on time;
— Almost infinite opportunities for growth — the main thing is to have a desire.
This is one of the best companies on the market that will give you an opportunity to realize your potential and develop your skills.

I just want to say about my experience with OpsWorks Inc.:

Fully remote friendly and diverse experience while working on small and huge projects facilitate personal and technical growth. There are plenty potential to display/apply ones skills with full responsibility and decision making.
