QA Engineer — BI (вакансія неактивна)

As a worldwide famous company that provides secure network connections, OpenVPN is looking for a new member of our QA team who will join the BI team and be responsible for the QA process with the current QA person in our Business Intelligence division.

Requirements:
— Overall QA experience 3+ years with at least 1 year in BI QA/Data QA
Excellent knowledge of  SQL
— Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
— Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test design techniques, test cases, etc.)
— At least upper-intermediate English level, both spoken and written
— Ability to sync 2-3 times per week in evening (6 p.m. — 9 p.m.) with team that is based in USA
— Excellent communication abilities

Would be a plus:
— Test automation experience (preferably on Python language);
— Experience with quantitative data analysis, knowledge of statistics;
— Experience with Tableau, Google BigQuery, Google Analytics;
— Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, protocols, DNS, VPN, etc.)

Responsibilities:
— Work closely with the BI team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and report on test execution progress and results;
— Responsible for validating the data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading the data in the target tables;
— Validate SQL queries related to test cases and produce test summary reports.
