Business Intelligence Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

As one of the world leaders in the cybersecurity space, OpenVPN is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer who will take ownership of Business Intelligence to deliver analysis that is timely, accurate and actionable.

Required skills:

— 5+ years of experience working in a BI, data engineering or a similar role
— Experience with Tableau (or any alternative BI tool like Cognos, Power BI, Microstrategy)
— Excellent knowledge of SQL
— Experience setting up BI architecture (data pipelines, DWH, dashboards etc.)
— Proven track record of quantitative data analysis to drive decision-making
— Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL 11+ or similar
— Understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

As a plus:

— Experience with Metabase, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
— Experience working with e-commerce systems
— Experience writing queries for unstructured and structured data within PostgreSQL 11+ (JSON)
— Knowledge of scripting languages (Python/Perl 7)
— Experience writing queries for large horizontally scaled databases (Citus Data, Postgres-XL, TimescaleDB)
— Experience with Airflow, Pentaho, Jaspersoft or Eclipse Birt (or any other similar ETL tool)
— Background in data science and machine learning
— Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity
— Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization

Responsibilities:

— Work with stakeholders to develop new reports and maintain existing ones
— Develop views and aggregated tables (datamarts)
— Use quantitative analysis methods to drive product and marketing decisions
