Technical Product Manager (Apps Project) (вакансія неактивна)

OpenVPN is seeking a Product Manager/Product Owner to own the roadmaps, execution, growth metrics, and adoption of our applications that are available on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems.

These applications are an integral part of our virtual networking products and solutions and are used to create a secure OpenVPN tunnel for data networking. Critical to success in this position would be a proactive attitude and the ability to assume responsibility, take ownership of the product, and drive it to success.

Responsibilities:
— Lead and collaborate with other product management, product teams, customer-facing teams, and end-users, to learn about product needs and strategy, align with the product plan and transform requirements and feature requests into user stories.
— Develop product roadmaps that align with business goals, user goals, and user requirements.
— Guide the overall UI/UX experience and lead the teams to ensure the product meets user needs.
— Work with the design team to finalize product specifications into mockups.
— Coordinate with the engineering team on implementation details and timeline
— Measure consumer satisfaction from multiple touchpoints across the app (reviews, surveys, support tickets, and analytics) and provide recommendations based on feedback and analysis.
— Drive product metrics development to collect insights to make proper decisions about product development
— Overseeing and contributing to user documentation and training; outbound marketing; product support; handling support escalations; including quality assurance and release management.
— Guide in support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the product.
— Take ownership of the project and drive the software development process through all stages of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
— Manage the specification, planning, progress, status updates, and delivery of the software product
— Lead SCRUM meetings

Requirements:
— 3-5 years of experience in product management of desktop and mobile application development of iOS and Android devices with an in-depth understanding of platform conventions on iOS and Android.
— Desirable to have past experience in product managing VPN client applications
— Desirable to have experience with submitting and maintaining apps on the iTunes App Store, Google Play Store, and others
— Strong UX/UI experience.
— Experience with User engagement and Agile methodology.


Required skills and knowledge:
— Experience creating user stories and using Jira to manage sprints
— Experience writing technical documentation (functional and technical product specifications)
— Familiarity with RESTful services
— Good knowledge of networking, protocols, authentication, etc.
— Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
— Proactive and can-do attitude, ability to multitask
— Flexible schedule — ability to work across time zones
— Proven ability to evaluate new technologies, articulate customer insights, test, learn, and make clear analytical recommendations.
— Meet deadlines and drive results while juggling many priorities under tight timeframes.
