About the position

As a Business Development Representative you will work with the Business Development and Sales teams and help them prepare, evaluate and execute sales for a team training campaigns. You will have an opportunity to work for one of the best Data Science event series and personally contribute to each ODSC event’s success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify different personas within an organization and execute email campaigns
  • Research companies, identify individuals via web and Linkedin, and outreach qualified leads for various sales campaigns
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Providing prospective customers with appropriate content
  • Schedule meetings, present solutions, conduct negotiations
  • Meet and exceed goals based on individual and team KPIs and goals
  • Report on weekly and monthly progress
  • Establish, maintain and develop long-term relationships with key clients

Requirements

  • Experience in outbound sales and high quality lead generation — (B2B preferred)
  • Upper intermediate (or higher) written and spoken English level
  • Confidence in interacting with a variety of individuals by phone or email
  • Experience using document management tools like Google Sheets and Docs
  • Experience using CRM or Sales Engagement/Automation Software
  • Excellent research, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to convince and persuade; attentive and goal-oriented
  • Experience with Email Sponsor/Partners Sales for events is a plus
  • Data Science and AI knowledge is a plus
