Legal Assistant (вакансія неактивна)

*Business trips abroad and relocation to Riga will be required after the trial period

You will act as the primary liaison between the HR and Legal departments. This role involves reporting on a daily basis to both departments regarding document management and coordinating with legal teams based in different countries and offices.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management:

  • Draft, review, and maintain all legal related contracts, including employment agreements, nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), and other legal documents.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Track contract lifecycles and ensure timely renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all contracts.

Legal Liaison:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all legal matters in collaboration with internal and external legal teams.
  • Coordinate with lawyers in different offices to ensure consistency and compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents, briefs, and reports.
  • Manage communication between the HR department and legal counsel.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment together with legals.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures comply with legal standards.
  • Assist in internal audits and compliance checks as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR and legal departments.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for legal consultations.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role.
  • Experience in contract management and working with legal documents.
  • Familiarity with HR practices and procedures is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Quickness and reporting.
