Description

We are looking for a AI Software Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and operate AI-powered capabilities within the nove8 products.
This role combines software engineering expertise with hands-on AI engineering experience.
You will work on product-grade AI solutions, including assistants, copilots, knowledge systems, semantic search, RAG-based capabilities, and agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML/DS.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, function calling, and structured outputs.
• Understanding of agent architectures, MCP, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and semantic search.
• Experience with Python (JS and Go are a plus).
• Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and software architecture.
• Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, production-grade software development, and Git.
• Experience with AI automation using n8n, LangChain/LangGraph, and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered product features — assistants, copilots, agentic workflows, knowledge systems, RAG,
• semantic search, and recommendation systems.
• Integrate LLM providers, tools, enterprise data sources, and MCP-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend services using n8n and Python/JS/Go.
• Build evaluation frameworks, quality gates, and observability practices for AI solutions.
• Monitor and improve the quality, latency, cost, reliability, and security of AI capabilities.
• Apply AI coding assistants and engineering agents as part of the daily development workflow.

Nice to have

• Understanding of AI evaluation, observability, security, and Responsible AI practices.
• Experience with databases, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
• DevOps fundamentals, including Docker containerization and basic Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex, Claude Platform, and OpenAI Platform.
• English B1 or higher — able to read documentation, communicate in writing, and participate in team discussions.
