About the project

You will join the Web global team at TUI responsible for the Web technologies across all holiday products and all TUI regions which owns several web applications that serve millions of users per year, generating billions in revenue for TUI. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of experts across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps, and Agile Delivery who are located, and also providing technical services, across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands. The project is a web platform and the client’s strategy is to embrace new technologies to prepare for the future and deliver for the present.

Mission

• As a Senior Quality Automation Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team. Being an enthusiast in creating flawlessly working software solutions for our customers, with a strong DevSecOps mindset, and thanks to your excellent collaboration skills you will work with your team in delivering the best answers to our customers’ needs and in taking over full responsibility for its applications, from design to operation
• You use your deep technical skills to work with your team on defining, executing and maintaining efficient, highly automated test setups for functional and integration testing
• You work together and support your colleagues with deep knowledge to improve expertise in ensuring the quality of software products over the whole cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying applications

Requirements

• Deep and proven practical knowledge of and expertise in quality assurance practices, tools and methods in an agile context and at scale
• Strong technical prowess in following quality assurance areas: automation, functional, integration testing
• Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI
• At least 3 years of experience with Java 8(or higher versions)
• Hands on experience with Web GUI testing (Selenide, Selenium)
• Knowledge of: TestNG, Maven, AssertJ, Lombok, RestAssured, ReportPortal, XPath, OOP automation design patterns: Page Object Model, PageFactory
• Fluent in written and spoken English
