Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain world-class Android applications and services that meet the highest standards of performance and quality
• Partner with industry leaders like Google to leverage the latest tools and technologies in Android development
• Implement best practices for quality assurance, including unit testing and integration testing using tools such as Espresso and JUnit
• Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and advocating for their adoption when appropriate
• Effectively communicate complex technical aspects through documentation and verbal explanations
• Inspire, develop, and motivate individuals and teams to achieve their objectives and targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong understanding of Java/Kotlin and commonly used Android design patterns
• Proficiency in working within a software development environment, including version control tools (e.g., Git), build automation (e.g., Jenkins), issue tracking (e.g., Jira), and artefact management (e.g., Artifactory)
• Experience with quality assurance techniques, including unit testing and integration testing using relevant tools (e.g., Espresso, JUnit)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
