We are seeking a highly skilled Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join a dynamic team of world-known car manufacturers from Sweden.

As a Modelling and Simulation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and verification of cutting-edge vehicle dynamics, motion control, driver assistance, and automated driving features.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your 10+ years of automotive domain experience to develop and validate simulation models
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create and verify models in simulation tools like Simulink
• Work with Hardware-in-Loop, Software-in-Loop, and Model-in-Loop environments
• Engage in vehicle-level verification activities and contribute to method development
• Apply your expertise in simulation tools and programming (Simulink, Python, etc.) to solve complex technical challenges
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Vehicle Dynamics and Control Theory
• Maintain a commercial vehicle driving licence (preferred)
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting results clearly and comprehensibly

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent education in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in software development or verification related to vehicle dynamics, motion control, driver assistance, or automated driving features
• 3+ years of experience with Hardware-in-Loop, Software-in-Loop, and Model-in-Loop environments
• 3+ years of experience in vehicle-level verification activities
• Proficiency in simulation tools (Simulink, Python, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles and their applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Technical focus with a problem-solving mindset
• Customer-focused with a dedication to meeting expectations and requirements
• Ability to build and maintain effective networks both within and outside the organization
• Connection to physical testing and simulation model correlation activities
• Strong documentation skills with a commitment to maintaining comprehensive records
• Proven ability to define technical problems, select suitable methods, and execute solutions
