System Safety Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a System Safety Engineer to join the System Safety team for a Swedish world-known Automotive giant. The main objective is to contribute to the development and delivery of safe products and services to our customers.

The activities cover the complete development cycle, for example, functional safety impact analysis, hazard analysis and risk assessment, functional and technical safety concepts, safety case, system safety joint reviews with suppliers and verification reviews.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support a selected department of the R&D organization with all aspects (for example, technical guidance, way of working, review) of functional safety in vehicle projects
• Develop Item Safety Cases in compliance with ISO 26262 in vehicle projects
• Perform System Safety Joint Reviews with suppliers in vehicle projects, considering ISO 26262
• Support in verification reviews of functional safety work products
• Support technical review of concepts and solutions from a functional safety perspective
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of processes, guidelines and templates

Requirements

• Few years of hands-on experience working with system/functional safety from relevant industry
• In-depth knowledge of relevant best practices and standards (for example, ISO 26262, ISO 21448)
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, architecture and software
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent area

• The capability of eliminating roadblocks to be able to deal with ambiguity and work under demanding conditions
