We are looking for a strong accurate QA Engineer who loves debugging and always suggests ways to improve the organization and the product, learning new things every day. Join this 6-month project.
Responsibilities
- Client/server software testing
- Working with different databases, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Creation of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and scenarios
- Identification, reporting, and tracking bugs
- Creation and support of testing environments and databases
- Using quality control methodologies and collaboration with other team members in order to achieve better testing coverage and ensure the product’s quality
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in testing complex systems (API, Integration, System)
- Experience in Automation — Python
- Experience working within a Linux environment with scripting skills
- Experience with database and SQL
- Experience in reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Experience in writing test plans and test design documentation. Good knowledge of testing methodologies
Will be a plus
- Knowledge and working experience with databases, DB administration
- Experience with big data technologies and data-driven systems
- Familiarity with cloud environments and services. Working experience with Jenkins CI and Git
